Speaker bio

Ty brings over 20 years of design experience, with expertise spanning enterprise design systems, design thinking, optimizing the design-to-market process, and fostering research and data-driven design cultures. He began his career at Jones Huyett Partners Advertising as a graphics and web designer, focusing on brand identity and digital marketing. Most recently, he served as the Director of User Experience for RealPage, recognized by Fortune Magazine as one of the 100 fastest-growing companies in 2020. Currently, Ty is the Head of Design for Alkami, a fintech company based in Plano, Texas. Alkami is a digital banking platform with over 18 million users and has recently received the JD Power Mobile UX certification. He is passionate about creating opportunities for others to explore art and technology as viable career options. He is founder of Cloud UX School of Design, through which he has taught dozens of designers in the Dallas-Ft. Worth metroplex.
